The snow has finally melted enough for us to walk some of the pasture. Peat does the exploring and we check the fences, the snow was really hard on them this year!
With his frisbee...
On the deck with the water pails
And a closeup of his expression...I wonder if the white on his muzzle will connect with the spot on his forehead???
Fiddle Knoll is home to me, my husband, Dale, our 2 Border Collies, our 2 German Shepherd Dogs, 9 sheep and a very good mouser, named Hazel Green (named after the small town in Wisconsin where we were living when she came to live with us). I am a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist with the Animal Behavior Society and run a behavior consulting business called Canine Consultants (www.canineconsult.com). I am also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Northern Michigan University. But when I'm not seeing clients or teaching, I spend most of my time humbly working with my own dogs in obedience, tracking and (most recently!) herding! Thanks for visiting!
