- Fiddle Knoll is home to me, my husband, Dale, our 2 Border Collies, our 2 German Shepherd Dogs, 9 sheep and a very good mouser, named Hazel Green (named after the small town in Wisconsin where we were living when she came to live with us). I am a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist with the Animal Behavior Society and run a behavior consulting business called Canine Consultants (www.canineconsult.com). I am also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Northern Michigan University. But when I'm not seeing clients or teaching, I spend most of my time humbly working with my own dogs in obedience, tracking and (most recently!) herding! Thanks for visiting!
